The journal collects and processes personal data only to the extent necessary for the operation of the journal, the editorial and peer-review process, publication of scholarly articles, and communication with authors, reviewers, and other users.

Personal data of authors

For manuscript submission, review, and publication, the journal may collect authors’ names, academic degrees and titles, positions, institutional affiliations, email addresses, ORCID iDs, and other information necessary for the preparation and publication of an article.

Information directly associated with a published article, including authors’ names, affiliations, academic degrees and titles, and ORCID iDs, may be published in the journal and on the journal website and may be provided to bibliographic, indexing, archiving, and other scholarly information services in which the journal is included.

The journal may request a telephone number and/or postal, home, or work address from the corresponding author for communication related to the editorial and publication process. This information is not published.

Following successful peer review, the journal may request additional information required to enter into and perform a publishing or licence agreement, including authors’ passport details where required. Such information is not published and is used solely for the purposes for which it was requested.

Data provided through the journal website
